2-Day Course
EMR Change Management For Successful EMR Implementation

When planning and executing any major changes in organization function, successfully managing the change on all levels is crucial. Conversion to the electronic medical and health records is a major step, touching most professionals within the health organization. Monitoring impact and quickly responding to issues will mean the success or failure of expensive efforts.

In this program, we’ll examine how humans deal with change and how the need for change must be understood and accepted from the top down in an organization. Participants learn to accept coming changes, cooperate with others and positively convey operational changes to the rest of the organization. In two days, you’ll learn how to identify impacts and affects of change on your health organization, and how to empower staff and providers to accept change. Participants will also learn specific tools and techniques used to decrease stress levels and the tools that are essential for the success of project implementation.
